Bergantino: a small little town of less than three thousands inhabitants, located along the river Po in province of Rovigo, in the extreme western leyer of Polesine that wedges between the districts of Mantua, Verona and Ferrara. Although similar to many other towns, in Bergantino dreams become true.

Known as Amusement Ride Centre, Bergantino has being establishing for many decades as a real protagonist into the world markets for the production of travelling and park model equipments.

But how was this activity born, in a little centre of rural origins like Bergantino? Since 1920 some families from Bergantino, with financial difficulties because of the serious post-war crisis, began as show men, privileging this new activity, rather than an emigration towards areas of higher industrial development. Together with the itinerant activity, many artesan laboratories were born, that started the manufacture of small attractions addressed at first only to the local market.

Now the territory of the Municipality of Bergantino and of the neighbors places, recognized by the region Veneto as District of the amusement rides, represents, among international centres of building of attractions, the most vanguard in the planning and production of travelling and park model equipments, able to satisfy with its specialized industries and artesan companies, all requirements of a market which has extended all over the world. Actually 90 percent of production is exported.

Anything related to the the luna park can be manufactured in Bergantino: from dizzy carousels, expression of the most advanced technology, to the most luxurious caravans, from the most modern lighting system, to the sophisticated sound systems, to the special trailers for the equipments transport, and so on: a real industry of entertainment, healthy, bringing joy and cheerfulness to adults and children.i.
